California-based SEG Solar says its new panels have a temperature coefficient of -0.30% per degree Celsius. They have a 30-year power guarantee, which is 87.4% of the original output.
SEG Solar offers four versions of the panels, ranging in power from 425 W to 440 W. Efficiency ratings range from 21.76% to 22.53%. The breakdown voltage is 38.70 V to 39.15 V and the short-circuit current is 13.91 A to 14.13 A. The maximum system voltage is 1,500 V.
The dimensions of the panels are 1,722 mm x 1,134 mm x 30 mm and the weight is 20.5 kg. They also have IP68 housing and 1.6mm semi-hardened glass. They have a temperature coefficient -0.30% per degree Celsius and operating temperature -40 C to 85 C.
“Yukon’s TOPCo Black Diamond Series module features an innovative 1.6mm lightweight glass material that reduces weight by approximately 15% compared to traditional 2.0mm modules,” the manufacturer said in a statement.
The new products have a 30-year linear power warranty and a 30-year product warranty. First year decay is claimed to be 1.0%. The final output of 30 years is guaranteed to be at least 87.4% of the nominal output output.
Currently, the manufacturer manufactures its panels in factories in Vietnam and Indonesia. It is also planning a 2 GW TOPCon module manufacturing facility in Houston, Texas.
