“Our new products utilize rectangular silicon wafers and innovative module technologies such as supermultibusbar (SMBB) design and double-layer coated glass, which greatly improves the conversion efficiency and stability of the products,” said Astronergy’s sales director Huang Haiyan. with the interview pv magazine. “We achieved a maximum efficiency of 22.7% and a maximum power of 615 W for this series of modules.”

The manufacturer aims to deliver 30 GW of solar modules in 2023, which is more than 100% growth compared to 2022.

“By the end of 2022, we will have about 20 GW of module capacity,” Huang said. “This number will rise to 50 GW by the end of this year, with a corresponding increase in solar cell capacity to 45 GW.”

Astronergy predicts significant growth in the global solar market this year, with an estimated 350 GW to 380 GW of new capacity worldwide, including 120 MW of new solar in China.

“We expect our domestic sales to account for 55-60 percent of our total sales this year, while the overseas market will account for 40-45 percent,” Huang said. “Last year, we shipped over 1 GW in Germany, capturing about 14 percent of the market share. We have we also have a strong presence in other European markets, such as Italy, Spain, Holland and Belgium, and we do well in traditional and developing markets such as the USA, Brazil and Australia.
