Zonergy has developed a 2.5 kWh Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery system with an inverter that ranges from 8 kW to 15 kW. It says that between four and 16 modules can be combined with an energy storage capacity of 10 to 40 kWh.
Four and 16 modules can be combined to reserve an energy storage capacity of 10-40 kWh. Each battery module measures 520 mm x 360 mm x 140 mm and weighs 49 kg.
The three-phase inverter is available in four versions with outputs of 8 kW, 10 kW, 12 kW or 15 kW. It has two maximum power point trackers (MPPT) with an input voltage range of 160V to 1000V and an efficiency of 99.9%.
The maximum PV input voltage is 550 V and the dimensions of the inverter are 540 mm x 450 mm x 228 mm. Its efficiency is 97.80%. The Panda solution has a five-year warranty. It works in temperatures from -20 C to 50 C. The new storage system has IP66 protection and is said to be suitable for demanding environments.
