Chinese manufacturer SPIC Solar says its new solar modules range in power from 450W to 460W with a power conversion efficiency of 22.9 to 23.4%.
“The Andromeda 3.0 TBC panel combines the advantages of IBC and TOPCon technologies and has an efficiency of up to 23.4%,” a company spokesperson said. pv magazine.
SPIC Solar has launched new modules, available in three versions, offering power from 450W to 460W and power conversion efficiency from 22.9% to 23.4%. Breakdown voltage ranges from 46.8 V to 47.0 V and short circuit current from 12.17 A to 12.37 A. These panels are designed to operate at a maximum system voltage of 1500 V and withstand temperatures of -40 C… 85 C.
The modules measure 1,895 mm x 1,139 mm x 30 mm and weigh 21 kg. They also feature an IP68 rated junction box, 3.2mm tempered glass and an anodized aluminum alloy frame. Their temperature coefficient is -0.29% per degree Celsius.
New products have a 25-year product warranty and a 25-year performance warranty. First-year degradation is claimed to be 1%, and 25-year final output is guaranteed to be at least 93% of rated output output.
SPIC Solar currently manufactures IBC panels and the new TBC product at its two production facilities located in Xining, Qinghai Province and Xi’an, Shaanxi Province.
