Pylontech says it plans to build a new production facility in Veneto, northern Italy. The company will use the factory as a joint venture with its Italian partner Energy Spa.
Pylontech, a Chinese supplier of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, said it is building a storage system manufacturing facility in Sant’Angelo di Piove di Sacco (PD) near Padua, Veneto, Italy.
The company is working on the project with the Italian Energy Spa. Their 50:50 joint venture Pylon LiFeEU Srl owns and operates the facility.
Energy Spa is listed on the Euronext Growth Milan market of the Italian stock exchange and specializes in residential buildings and large energy storage solutions.
“This factory utilizes the resources and expertise of both parties for the development and marketing of energy storage products in Europecreating a new foundation for innovative energy storage solutions,” Pylontech said, without disclosing technical details of the facility.
