JinkoSolar, Long, JA Solar and Trina Solar have all reported impressive growth figures for the first quarter of this year.
JinkoSolar’s revenue was 23.33 billion yuan ($3.4 billion), up 58% from a year earlier. Net profit rose to 788.7 million yuan from 28.9 million yuan in the first quarter of 2022. The company attributed this growth to strong global market demand and increased shipments of its TOPCon products.
Meanwhile, Longi reported revenue of 28.32 billion yuan, up 52.35% year-on-year, and net profit of 3.64 billion yuan, up 36.55% year-on-year.
JA Solar reported quarterly revenue of 20.48 billion yuan, up 66.23% year-on-year, and net profit of 2.58 billion yuan, up 244.45% year-on-year.
Trina Solar’s revenue was 21.32 billion yuan, up 39.59% year-on-year. Net profit was 1.77 billion yuan, an increase of 225.43% over the same period last year.
