“BHEL has identified the hydrogen economy value chain as a business opportunity and has embarked on efforts to make it happen,” BHEL stated. “This is in line with the company’s wishes to identify and diversify new technology areas for growth and sustainable development, while increasing the share of non-coal business.”

The company plans to hire a consulting firm with experience and expertise in developing strategies and roadmaps, which should include recommendations on potential partners. The consulting company also helps with the manufacture of electrolysis equipment and the construction of the green hydrogen value chain.
