India’s Cosmic PV Power says it will begin production at a second 600 MW plant by June, bringing its total solar panel production capacity to 850 MW.

Cosmic PV Power has broken ground on a 600 MW solar panel manufacturing facility in Gujarat.

The plant, which has a fully automated process and produces modules in the power range of 550 Wp to 600 Wp, is scheduled to start production in June.

In addition to multi-rail mono PERC and bifacial modules, it is equipped with HJT and TOPCon technology.

Cosmic PV’s current annual production capacity of 250 MW will increase to 850 MW. The company aims for a cumulative production capacity of 1.4 GW by 2024.
