Meyer Burger Technology AG says it is expanding sales of its high performance solar modules to the UK market.

The British testing company BRE recently certified module production in Germany according to the MCS standard, which proves the high quality level of the production facilities. The MCS mark is a requirement for solar modules installed on residential roof systems in the UK

Wind & Sun is the first distributor in the UK to include Meyer Burger in its portfolio, and around 20 installers have already signed up to sell Meyer Burger, the company says.

With the MCS certificate, there are now new sales opportunities in Great Britain and the opportunity for new partnerships.

“Successful certification is an important milestone for the Meyer Burger UK team,” says Scott McDaniel, UK & Ireland Sales Manager. “I am very excited about the opportunity to work with our partners as we build a new vision for solar power across the islands of Great Britain and Ireland.”
